Primary Health Care System in Pakistan.

When we are discussing the primary health care system in Pakistan one thing that we always need to keep in our mind is " Pakistan on 156 ranks among 196 countries". Now discuss the Primary Health Care System In Pakistan. Pakistani health care system consists of various dimensions like 

• private Sector
• Public Sector
• Govt Sector

According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics till April 2020 there are 

• 1279 Govt. Hospitals  
• 5527 Basic Health centers
• 686 Rural Health centers 
• 5671 Despencries 

are functional in-country and only 220829 doctors are registered to serve the nation that means there is just one Doctor for 963 people for services and one hospital bed for 1608 Pakistanis. 

 Govt. Policies for the betterment of the health   sector 

The health sector never becomes a priority of the Pakistani Govt. during the last financial year total budget of federal and preventional Govtments for the health sector is 203 Billion and 74 crores Pks.  which is only 0.53% of GDP. if we divide this budge by the population of Pakistan the results are so horrible and merciful. Govt. of Pakistan Spend per head 980.58 rupees yearly and 81.71 rupees monthly.
